A structured path from 'we need to do CSRD' to filed

The Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive is the biggest shift in corporate disclosure since IFRS. Certigence is the workflow built for the scale and the scrutiny.

Six stages, one platform

  • Materiality: Double materiality with stakeholder inputs and documented rationale per topic.
  • Data collection: Pre-mapped ESRS data points, assigned to preparers with deadlines.
  • Narratives: Narrative disclosures drafted by the assistant, grounded in your evidence.
  • Review: Preparer / reviewer workflow with change log and approval gates.
  • Assurance: Read-only auditor access with shared evidence pack.
  • File & publish: Structured PDF and CSV exports of your full statement.

Use case: CSRD readiness

  • PDF + CSV — Export formats for the full statement — Structured exports of your statement
  • 3 — Mandatory reporting groups covered — Wave 1, the narrowed FY2027 scope and non-EU parents
  • 1 — Source of truth for SFDR, TCFD, GRI, IFRS S2 — Cross-mapped automatically
  • 0 — Consultant lock-in — Your data, your evidence, your exports

Whatever wave you're in, we've got you

Wave 1 has reported since FY2024. Under Directive (EU) 2026/470, other companies are in scope only above 1,000 employees and €450m net turnover, reporting on FY2027 data; non-EU parents follow from FY2028. Listed SMEs are out of mandatory scope. Certigence covers each mandatory group with the right template and data-point coverage.

  • Wave 1 — public-interest entities with 500+ employees, reporting since FY2024.
  • From FY2027 — companies above 1,000 employees and €450m net turnover.
  • From FY2028 — non-EU parents via Article 40a (€450m EU turnover, €200m EU subsidiary or branch).
  • Listed SMEs — out of mandatory scope; voluntary reporting under VSME.

One disclosure. Many audiences.

Your CSRD statement has to satisfy the assurance provider, feed the SFDR disclosure, answer investor ratings, and sometimes serve as the TCFD narrative too. Certigence keeps them consistent automatically.

  • Single source of truth for every metric.
  • Automatic cross-mapping to GRI, TCFD, IFRS S2 and SASB.
  • SFDR PAI feed directly from ESRS E data.
  • Investor-rating response packs from the same evidence.

Take the panic out of your CSRD cycle

FAQ

When do I need to start?

As soon as you know whether you are in scope. Wave 1 companies have already filed FY2024 statements; companies in the narrowed scope (more than 1,000 employees and €450m net turnover) report on FY2027 data, published in 2028, so the evidence has to be collected during 2027.

Can we switch providers once we start?

Yes. Your evidence, mappings and narratives are exportable in open formats — we're portable by design.
